I wanted to ask about the difference with the 4g model and without ... basically with the 4g model I can also leave the phone at home correct ?

Yes, exactly. :) The 4G model allows you to use an eSIM with the watch, making it independent. While the other has to be connected via Bluetooth with a phone.

Dear Community I would like to connect the watch (Swiss model; not EU) to the mobile phone via (the same) WLAN. In this way, I would like to ensure that the connection is maintained when I am out of Bluetooth range. I have successfully dialled the watch and the mobile phone into the same WLAN. I have activated the "Remote connection" setting on the watch. Nevertheless, the watch asks for a Bluetooth connection as soon as there is no longer one. Calls cannot be received or made. Who knows a solution to this problem? Thanks in advance.

Do you have a Bluetooth Watch4 or an LTE? If it is a Bluetooth, there must be a connection between the mobile phone and the Watch! Greetings from Herbert

I just unpacked the watch and found no wireless charger. Only a USB (A-C) cable ... is that the case, or is something missing?

This means that if there is a specific update for the Swiss market, European models will not receive it, and there is a limitation of the Samsung Pay function as European models do not support Samsung Pay in Switzerland.
