@affimwi, I feel your pain. Short answer: NO. I bought this to connect airpods to an airplane seat-back television for long flights. First, it does not transmit - it only receives. But it does allow me to use in a stereo installed on a boat, giving everyone access to play music without wires. Good Luck!
