Easy to set up, but miserable performance.

With 40 to 50 Mbit/s U/D even slower than the poor WLAN. That with the 2400 Mbit / s is unfortunately bait and switch. No 15 meters distance between the devices (power length will probably be longer) and connected directly to the socket without extension.

    Pro

    • Very uncomplicated setup

    Contra

    • Miserable performance
    • Large
    • Gets very warm

    WLAN works perfectly

15 min. everything set up. Mesh connected to UPC WiFi Box. Wi-Fi works perfectly in the whole flat.
Disadvantage: 3-way sockets are no longer usable because they are HUGE. Fortunately with integrated socket.

    Pro

    • WLAN performance
    • Installation
    • 3-year warranty, right?

    Contra

    • concealed 3-way sockets

    expensive but effective

Very good, too bad that the user guide shows a different procedure than the app indicates, not necessarily easy to follow...

    Works just fine.

I have to go from the 2nd floor to the basement. Approx. 25 - 30 m line path. Ideal installation, same phase, no intermediate plugs. Directly at the socket.
Nevertheless in the basement only 10% data throughput (50 - 60 kbit
/s). It's ok for me, because I only need to transmit a few control signals for my Homematic IP. As a full-fledged PC - connection, however, that would be a buzzkill.

What bothers me most is the high power consumption. I only plug them in when I need them, which wasn't really intended. The WLAN part also gets very warm, which is not good for the lifespan. A power supply with miserable efficiency and a too small chip is probably the reason.

My Fritzbox 7583 consumes less power than this set of 2. In view of the climate discussion, CO2 problem, this is no longer contemporary.
Why is there no energy label anywhere? I thought that was mandatory for all devices? Sustainable is different!
By the way, this is not better with the Fritz Powerline Set.

    Greetings

    Pro

    • That I get a connection at all in the basement without slits.
    • Setup

    Contra

    • Energy consumption much too high!
    • App requires password every time. iPad can't save it.
    • App requires location services every time, nothing else works. Where data protection??
    • Hot, could be sold as a heater :-)
