We only discovered after the purchase that it is not compatible with Overdrive/Libby in Switzerland. We wanted exactly this function to be able to read library books, so it went back.
Switched from Tolino Epos 2 to Kobo libra Colour. Better picture: adjustable letter thickness, background can also be set to really white. Much more responsive device. PDF now also possible, Epos 2 was too slow for meaningful use. Colours are similar to other colour devices (gl. technology), require constant light. Google Drive works very well for loading books. For the pen, certain others also work: my Lenovo Precision Pen 2 works perfectly (the two buttons are used for highlighter and eraser, but are not magnetic). 80 saved!

Very happy with my choice, a good size neither too big nor too small and the white colour makes the reader more cheerful :)! I recommend it!

I was looking forward to the Kobo Libra Colour, especially after the many great reviews. Unfortunately, apart from the fact that it runs quickly, my expectations have been disappointed and now I realise that I have been taken in by the Kobo Marketing machine. The display is very pale compared to the Pocketbook Color 3. The more display light you use, the paler the colours become and the display takes on a slightly pinkish tinge (maybe it's my imagination, but it seems that way to me too).
I had previously understood that you can use Kobo readers without a Kobo account, which is a big argument for me, because I think that's bad with Amazon. I was wrong there too, so without a Kobo account there is no way to use the ereader.
Otherwise, it has the usual Kobo good features. It runs smoothly and the integrated Kobo Shop makes it easy to order books. Uploading books via PC is also possible and it works. If you like it, the Google Drive integration is interesting.
All in all, however, I'm disappointed and the Kobo is going back. Pocketbook may come.

As a long-time Kindle user, I don't want to gloss over the disadvantages of the colour display. I noticed them as soon as I started the device. The seemingly grainy surface and the grey tone of the display quickly became an annoying factor.
Anyone who is used to the usual black and white eReaders will have to get used to these colour displays. This happened to me after a bit of a headache, frequent reading breaks and tired eyes and about 10 hours of reading time. (Thanks to the statistics provided by the Kobo, I know this :D). In the meantime, reading on the Kobo is just as pleasant for me as on the Kindle. If not even better, because the Kobo user interface simply offers more than the Kindle and I was able to adjust my reading position very comfortably thanks to the display rotating on all sides. The operation is smooth, as is the scrolling. Ghost images appear more often than usual, but you can simply refresh them with a quick tap.
The splash of colour, although pastel and pale, has a greater impact than I would have thought. Just being able to highlight text in different colours and scribble in notes to record thoughts even more simply is a great feature. The whole implementation of highlighting is better solved in the Kobo than in the Kindle, in my opinion.
With Calibre I now have full control over the books I buy and I'm no longer tied to Amazon. If you don't always want to tie the Kobo to your PC, you can also upload books to the Kobo very easily via Dropbox or Google Drive. Kobo's own ePUB format KEPUB is recommended as it runs more smoothly and normal ePUBs do not offer reading statistics. Unfortunately. But the formats are still accepted and work.
The grey tint in the display is particularly noticeable in the sun. The backlight is therefore extremely bright to compensate for this. In the dark I have the brightness set to approx. 8%, in daylight to 30% and in the sun to the maximum.
Despite the disadvantages, I don't regret buying it. And if you've never had an e-reader before, I can only recommend the Kobo. If you already have experience, you should take a closer look at it in a shop first and decide whether you can get used to it. It worked for me. :)
