The 2H tip makes surface pen feel like the surface slim pen.
The old pen and the new one have the same digitizer technology (which lacks precision compared to say, ipad pro). If you want to have the same feel of the slim pen, grab one of these and stick the 2H in your sufrace pen like I did. The result is not mind blowing but I like the lower friction on glass.
