The maximum temperature of the potting gasket is limited to 180°C. This is a mineral insulated probe, type K, designed to be very robust and flexible for high pressure and low pressure applications, capable of withstanding strong vibrations. It features an insulated (not grounded) tip and a stainless steel sheath with grade 310. Connection is made via a 1 m PTFE insulated cable, with a maximum tip temperature of 1100°C.
