The Samsung 16 - 50 mm Premium S lens contains 18 elements in 12 groups, including three aspherical, two ED, and two XHR lenses, to produce sharper images without color dispersion. The lens is constructed with an extremely sensitive optical lens and avoids shadow and flicker effects with the use of SPMC technology (Superior Multi-Coating). The result is bright and sharp images in low-light conditions that can be captured with an aperture setting of up to F2. This lens meets the requirements of CIPA's OIS 4 Stop Directive, meaning that in most situations you will get sharper images with less motion blur.

This new addition to the Samsung 16 - 50 mm Premium S lens series sets new standards in robust luxury thanks to its elegant metal construction. Every element of the lens, including zoom and focus rings, is manufactured to precise standards so you can control settings smoothly and accurately. In addition, the dustproof and waterproof design allows shooting in sandy or dirty conditions, from beaches to deserts to construction sites.

The intuitive i-Function system is built into the lens barrel, allowing you to select the crop, make manual adjustments, and preview the changes all at the same time. To capture the images you are currently viewing, press the i-Function button on the side of the lens and rotate the adjustment ring to change variables such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and white balance.
