We were able to test both memory cards, which are each available with a capacity of up to 256GB, in a short test. Our test verdict is consistently positive. The novelties do their job without any problems and are even water-resistant, protected against heat and cold, X-rays and shocks. The price is also acceptable. A clear buy recommendation.
With both the Evo Plus and Pro Plus series from Samsung, the customer gets solid performance. However, ambitious photographers with a preference for continuous shooting are better served by the Pro-Plus series: it offers consistently higher write speeds at a price that is only marginally higher.
The Evo Plus and the Pro Plus are close to each other. If you want to transfer photos and videos quickly, go for the Evo Plus - it is just as fast at accessing and reading data as the more expensive Pro Plus. The Pro version is interesting for sports photographers and videographers who also need a higher writing speed, for example for long continuous shooting.
