Product details
The Samyang XP 14mm F2.4 is a manual high-performance lens, optimized and developed for the latest DSLR cameras. The lens is designed for cameras with a 35mm full-frame sensor to achieve the best photo and video results. It is the brightest lens of its kind and is tailored for the latest high-pixel DSLR cameras.
Unique Perspectives
With the compact 14mm Samyang wide-angle lens, unique shots are created. The wide-angle captures more of the scene at the same subject distance compared to a standard lens. The Samyang lens is suitable for the entire spectrum of wide-angle photography, particularly for landscape photography and indoor shots. The pronounced depth effect of wide-angle images allows for creative photography.
Enormous Width and Great Depth of Field
The lens features a short focal length. With a minimum focusing distance of just 28cm, the manually focusable wide-angle lens is particularly suited for sharp and high-contrast images from close range. Thanks to its excellent light intensity of 1:2.4, optimal shots are possible even in unfavorable lighting conditions.
High Pixel Count for Excellent Optical Functionality
The outstanding imaging performance is due to the elaborate optical system, which consists of 14 groups with 18 lenses, setting new standards. Notably, it includes two aspherical lenses, one aspherical hybrid lens, two ED lenses, and three HR lenses. These high-precision aspherical and high-refractive lenses minimize various imaging errors and produce a clear image. It particularly excels in distortion correction and offers excellent resolution in the center and at the edges. The lens hood also prevents unwanted side light from entering.
