The SR-M3 features a headphone output, allowing you to always monitor your sound, even if your camera lacks a headphone jack. An additional 3.5 mm microphone input enables the connection of a second microphone. If your camera has only a single microphone input, you can use two with the SR-M3. You can connect a plug-on lavalier microphone, such as the Saramonic SR-XLM1, or an additional shotgun mic, like the Saramonic SR-PMIC1. The SR-M3 also includes a +10dB boost switch, which allows you to lower the noisy preamp of your camera to capture much cleaner sounding audio and record objects from greater distances.
