Product details
This microphone is characterized by its ability to capture ambient sounds from nature, events, musical performances, indoor spaces, and any environment where you want to immerse your audience. With its robust metal construction, it is always ready for travel, and with its precise stereo microphones, it is always prepared to realistically capture the sounds of the world around you. In addition to excellent sound quality, the Vmic Stereo offers a variety of features that you won’t find in competing products. An integrated headphone output allows you to monitor your sound at all times, even if your camera lacks a headphone jack. A second output is available for connecting the Vmic Stereo to your camera or recorder. All controls are easy to use and easily accessible. It has a +20dB boost setting, allowing you to turn down the noisy preamp in your camera for cleaner results, and you can also capture action from a distance. You can reduce the sensitivity by -10dB to record loud subjects or environments. A low-pass switch makes sounds more intelligible and eliminates unwanted low bass noises, such as disruptive rumbling from vehicles. A high-frequency boost setting enhances the sharpness and clarity of the recorded sounds. The included cable is detachable, allowing you to use any 3.5 mm (1/8") long cable to position the microphone away from your camera. Additionally, the integrated shoe mount features a metal tripod thread at the base, making it easy to attach the Vmic Stereo to a variety of camera mounts.
