Modicon M580 - X80 EIO Drop Adapter. An M580 Ethernet RIO (EIO) architecture with Modicon X80 I/O drops requires the use of a dedicated adapter in each Modicon X80 drop. The BMECRA31210 adapter supports Ethernet and X-Bus communication over the remote backplane, multiple expert modules such as counting and weighing modules, as well as CCOTF (Change Configuration On The Fly). This adapter is designed for installation on an Ethernet backplane in the main remote rack. Connection via Ethernet cable sets with RJ45 connectors. LED display block to indicate the status of the module. Rotary switch for setting the address of an EIO drop (00 - 159).
