Mit einer sehr guten Bildqualität sowie einem verhältnismäßig geringen Preis erhält die SLR die Auszeichnung für den Preistipp. Zwar gibt es einige Kameras, die deutlich schneller agieren als die 7R aber langsam sieht dennoch anders aus. An der sehr guten Verarbeitung sowie dem ebenfalls guten Handling kann man ebenfalls kaum etwas aussetzen.

Gute wetterfeste Systemkamera (staub- und spritzwassergeschützt) mit sehr gutem elektronischen Sucher, großem Bildwandler und Netzwerkfunktion. Besonders gut im Sehtest. Guter Monitor zum Klappen, grundlegende Handgriffe funktionieren einfach, für eine hochwertige Kamera leicht, viele Extras und Funktionen. Nachteil: sehr teuer, etwa 3.000 € (Stand: Juni 2014).

Die kompakte Systemkamera hat einen recht großen Sensor, der auch für die hohe Bildqualität verantwortlich ist. Das Gehäuse ist recht klein aber die Objektive auf DSLR Niveau. Für schnelle Serienbilder ist sie allerdings aufgrund ihrer mäßigen Geschwindigkeit eher ungeeignet, wobei der Sucher exzellent ist.
