It features a PZD (Piezo Drive) standing wave ultrasonic motor that ensures fast, nearly silent autofocus, along with the highly praised VC image stabilization (Vibration Compensation) and a new high-quality design with an appealing finish. This All-In-One 28-300 mm lens delivers top-notch image quality.

The highly advanced optical technology of this lens includes four LD (Low Dispersion) lens elements, three pressed aspherical lenses, a hybrid aspherical element, an XR (Extra Refractive Index) element, and a UXR (Ultra-Extra Refractive Index) element, which has a higher refractive index than XR glass. By exclusively using specialized glass elements, this outstanding lens is made as compact and lightweight as possible, while effectively minimizing aberrations to ensure high image quality.
