Tamron promises an exceptional new lens for digital full-frame DSLR cameras with its All-In-One zoom lens development.
In response to the growing popularity of digital full-frame DSLRs, Tamron now introduces its new, powerful full-frame zoom lens. It features a PZD (Piezo Drive) standing wave ultrasonic motor that ensures fast, nearly silent autofocus, along with the highly praised VC image stabilization (Vibration Compensation) and a new high-quality design with an appealing finish. This All-In-One 28-300 mm lens delivers top-notch image quality.
The highly advanced optical technology of this lens includes four LD (Low Dispersion) lens elements, three pressed aspherical lenses, a hybrid aspherical element, an XR (Extra Refractive Index) element, and a UXR (Ultra-Extra Refractive Index) element, which has a higher refractive index than XR glass. By exclusively using specialized glass elements, this outstanding lens is made as compact and lightweight as possible, while effectively minimizing aberrations to ensure high image quality.
The PZD ultrasonic motor enables noticeably faster and quieter autofocus – ideal for capturing spontaneous moments in sharp images. Additionally, it allows for manual focus adjustment at any time.
The proven Tamron VC image stabilizer (Vibration Compensation) ensures sharp and shake-free images with this lens. This makes it perfect for handheld shots or low-light conditions.
The elaborate lens construction is splash-proof, making this lens suitable for demanding outdoor photography.
