It produces high-quality images with zero distortion and minimal chromatic aberration, saving filmmakers considerable effort in post-production. The non-dome-shaped front element allows for 77mm screw-in filters, making filming more convenient.

With a large aperture of T2.9, this lens enables filmmakers to shoot in low light conditions and control the depth of field, making it suitable for limited spaces or establishing shots. The zero distortion feature allows cinematographers to maintain straight lines, resulting in impressive image quality.
