The 852-1322 is an industrial, configurable Ethernet switch with 8 ports 10/100/1000BASE-T. Data encryption is performed according to IEEE802.1AE (MAC Security Standard) for communication over ports 7 and 8. This functionality, along with its compact dimensions, makes this product suitable for retrofitting network security in the ongoing operation of automation systems. The customer application remains unchanged. Optional authentication of additional network participants is port-specific and follows IEEE 802.1X and RADIUS server protocols. The switch features a robust housing and redundant power supply.
