The initial setup of the receiver is completed in just a few button presses. Clear and easy-to-understand on-screen menus simplify further settings and daily operation.
The two reception units (TWIN Tuner) of the HRT 8770 TWIN require no complicated settings, no additional cables, and no special antenna. Once the initial setup is complete, both reception units are automatically available. While recording one channel, it is possible to switch to another channel. Of course, the HRT 8770 TWIN can also record two programs simultaneously. This can be done either at the push of a button or via timer. While the receiver is recording, it can simultaneously play back existing recordings.
Time-shifted television is also possible. To use the recording and time-shift function, simply connect a USB hard drive to the receiver.
The receiver is also suitable for receiving unencrypted channels of digital cable television.
