Product details

To print with this carbon-PLA filament, you will need the appropriate hardened steel nozzle for your device. The XYZ Carbon Fiber Filament is made from a blend of PLA (polylactic acid) and carbon fiber. This allows you to create impact-resistant 3D models with an exceptional surface finish. The combination of PLA plastic and high-quality carbon fiber enables prints with an attractive matte finish and a slightly shimmering surface. With a simple upgrade, you can now produce extraordinary prints at home with your XYZprinting printer.

The improved strength-to-weight ratio compared to regular PLA makes your prints stiffer (less bending) and more impact-resistant. This property is ideal for printing parts for remote-controlled cars, drones, propellers, frames, and much more. Our compatible printers come with a stainless steel nozzle and can be upgraded with the special hardened steel nozzle. This nozzle has been specifically designed with the abrasive nature of the XYZ Carbon Filament in mind, ensuring enhanced durability and high-quality prints.
