1. Gitzo GHF2W
Thanks to the integrated fluid cartridges, it offers very smooth 360° panning and a lateral tilt from -60° to +90°. The spring-loaded balancing system maintains equilibrium with a firm resistance, but the tension can be adjusted for more resistance. The head can accommodate cameras and spotting scopes weighing up to 8.8 pounds, and each axis locks in place with its own independent locking knob. The 2.2-inch head is Arca-type compatible and includes a rubberized quick-release plate with a 1/4"-20 external thread and a removable pan bar.

The GH1382QD is a medium-sized head designed for the Series 0 and 1 Mountaineer tripods, and it also fits between the folded legs of the Series 2 Traveler tripods. Despite its slim design, it is fully equipped, including a friction control located within the ball locking knob. It comes with a short, Arca-Swiss compatible plate (GS5370SD) and is also compatible with all D-profile plates from Gitzo, making it suitable for most Arca-Swiss plates from other brands.
