A4 tray: Is the tray completely inside the housing? Does this mean that the system always remains "closed" during operation? Chromebook: Does the printer also work with a Chromebook, or what restrictions are there with it?

Helpful answer

In operation, the paper output extends to the front. For DinA4 and DinA3 photo paper, I use the rear feed, which goes up and slightly back. This works in front of a wall with some distance, about 15cm. Thick DinA4, Premium Glossy for example, should be fed through the rear tray.

The front A4/A3 photo trays are recessed (closed). Only the rear paper feed for A3 would have to be opened for use. But I don't need it. My ET-8550 actually stands directly in front of a wall. Only the rear upper single feed sticks out a little to the back.

There is a paper tray under the paper output. I use this for office paper. I would feed A4 / A3 photo paper from the back. For smaller photo paper there is another drawer under the paper output. When the printer is not in use, it can be closed completely (there should be no paper in the rear drawer).
