Question about Epson EcoTank ET-8550

According to Epson, the free warranty extension is valid until 31.3. Now the printer seems to have very long delivery times (currently April at the earliest). Can the warranty extension still be redeemed for a purchase before 31.3. or would this only be possible when the printer is delivered? I.e. probably no longer for this printer?

The supplier has to answer this question. As a buyer and user, I cannot answer the question.
