Question about Samsung Book Cover Keyboard

According to Samsung support, the keyboard cover should switch off the display when it is closed. This does not work for me. Do you have any other experiences with this? Does this work yes/no?

Yes it should. When I disconnect the tablet from the keyboard, the screen goes off and the tablet goes into locked mode. So when you open it, you have to log in again. That's a good thing, because who wants to leave their tablet lying around open.
