can anyone recommend a good microphone stand for this microphone and is it possible to dismantle the legs of the microphone?

Unfortunately, I can't recommend a stand, as I have it on the table myself, but it looks like you can remove the legs by loosening a few screws. You can find a few examples of stands on the manufacturer's website: http://www.samsontech.com/samson...
