Helpful answer
I would advise against a WD NAS, they are toy NAS which are not worth much. It would therefore be better to buy a real NAS, e.g. the Synology DS218play, which is a very well-equipped NAS that can also do something (even 4K transcoding) and also offers much better security and years of updates:

Synology DS218play (WD Red Plus)

The DS218Play offers a Quad Core processor with 4 x 1.4 GHz with fast DDR4 RAM, while the WD device has an ancient 1.3 GHz Dual Core CPU with outdated DDR3 RAM. The brochure conveys ultra, but the only thing I can tell is that these WD devices are ultra old.
