Can I set up the Netgear EX7500 in my living room and buy the TechniSat digital radio 110 IR to have Internet radio at home? I would connect the TechniSat to my existing B&O system if the TechniSat 110IR is W-LAN compatible. Thank you very much for your answer. Unfortunately, I needed the RJ45 socket in my living room for SWISSCOM-TV. In general, I have a very weak signal in the house when using W-LAN with the SWISSCOM router.
Hi Urs
Basically, I would do the installation like this:
Buy a Netgear GS305-100PES switch, Art-Nr 5340428, chf 28.-.
Connect this switch to the router, I assume you have the Swisscom Box 2, if not organise it,
TOP Wlan performance and newest device.
You then have the option of connecting several Internet-capable devices to the switch, including the TechniSat 110IR.
If you still need the Netgear EX7500 for a stronger wifi, I can only recommend it. For me, I have achieved a 60% increase in the existing wifi.
I hope this helps you a little.
Greetings Gaetano
This should work perfectly, I also have (TechniSat but 120 IR and connected directly with cable to speakers, Internet stations come via Wlan (Swisscom router) Through the Netgear EX 7500 the Wlan is more stable.
