Can it be used to send Bluetooth aptx audio via coax cable to a DAC (S/PDIF Co-axial in)? Power via external USB charger, no Yamaha receiver. Is this possible?

Hello Saplement. Power is via USB... i.e. if your receiver has a USB port, you should get the juice via it. Digital output is not optical (S/PDIF) but coaxial. No analogue output either. It works with any receiver because it is a standard output. Aptx yes.
I think it's good that it doesn't have any bells and whistles like an analogue output.
