For me, it is greyed out, which means it cannot be selected.

I guess the software has to be installed first, because duplex printing is greyed out in the Windows printer programme and cannot be selected. I will have another look at this.

Double-sided printing can be set in the printer menu. If double-sided printing is on, the printer automatically makes double-sided copies.
