Can this card be used for fibre7 (in a linux router)? According to init7 it needs 10G SFP+ BIDI LR.

Hello, yes you can use. You have to choose an SM module to embed it in your Asus network card, because your router seems to support only SM.
In some modems it is possible to choose either MM or SM modules.
