I have a Canon M50 and the camera including kit lens were too light. I had to install a heavy tripod rail between the gimbal and the M50 so I could balance it. Long story short. Yes it works but you probably need to make the system heavier. AK2000 is rather good for bigger cameras, although the manual recommends only 500g minimum weight.
