Do you know if there are also hdmi dropout problems like with the Qn95a?

If there are picture dropouts, the HDMI cable used is usually to blame. For 8K, I recommend using only 8K-capable HDMI Ultra High Speed cables, which should eliminate these problems. This one is capable of 8K with up to 120 Hz:
