Hello,

the FRITZ!Box 6850 5G is a WLAN and LAN router and can be used as such even if you do not use a SIM card in the router to access the Internet.
Please note that the FRITZ!Box 6850 5G cannot be used as a mesh repeater, as an IP client or in a cascaded manner.
