The camera package contains a USB cable, but no memory card. You will therefore need to buy an SD card separately to save photos.

There are several ways to transfer the pictures to your mobile or laptop:

Directly via USB cable:
Connect the camera to your laptop using the USB cable supplied. As soon as you switch on the camera, your laptop should recognise it as a removable storage device so that you can transfer the photos.

With the memory card:
You can remove the SD card from the camera and connect it to your laptop using a card reader to transfer the images.

Getting pictures to your mobile:
Since the FZ45 doesn't have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, you can use an OTG (On-The-Go) adapter and an SD card reader to pull the images directly from the memory card to your smartphone.
