Does the protective glass have a recess by the camera hole? It is not visible in the picture.

No, it only has a cut-out for the centre as you can see in the picture.
I'm also really happy with the bulletproof glass, I've already had 3-4 different products but I'm particularly happy with this one. Hope I could help you with it.
