Does this product work with the gopro hero 12 black? and is it waterproof?

It is certainly splash-proof... Waterproof rather not.

The flap is compatible with the GoPro 12 Black. This can also be seen on the official GoPro website. Although only the Hero 9, 10 and 11 Black are mentioned on the box, there is a "12 Black Compatible" sticker on the front.
Whether it is waterproof is beyond my knowledge, but as you can already see from the description of the product, it only works for the Hero 9, 10 and the Hero 11.
