Question about FRITZ! Box 7590 (A/CH version)

Good day, can anyone confirm (preferably from their own experience) that the FritzBox 7590 (A/CH) will work on my Sunrise DSL connection, not just as a router, but as a modem for Internet and VoIP? On the one hand, Sunrise advises me not to buy a device myself (because then they can no longer provide remote support), on the other hand, they can't supply me with a FritzBox at the moment. I have had the Sunrise Internetbox for 4 years, but now I would like to use VPN access and guest LAN, which the SunriseBox cannot do. If I read the other entries correctly, I don't even need to try a used FritzBox from Germany. Since I need the one VoIP number for business, I want to be reasonably sure before I start messing around. Thanks a lot

Hello, I have been running the 7590 (now with 7.21) as a Sunrise router for a month (here me76.8 Mbit/s ↑ 17.8 Mbit/s). I do not use sunrise telNr but two sipcall VOIP Nr with 3 fritzphone and a kabeltel directly connected. Until then I had an original black sunrise 7490 (but set up with fritz firmware, not sunrise), which went faulty after 2 years? Behind it another 7490 (mesh) and 7390. Android TV (Mibox) and much more. Now install on Fritz NAS on USB3, because old LAN/NAS got into the days, looks good until now (streaming mibox). VPN from Android works tiptop.

The CH version should work because the router fetches the data itself. The 7590 from Sunrise was nothing special but only the CH version. I saw the update function before I connected it. After connecting it, this function disappeared. Mine runs with 7.1. Does anyone know if it also runs with 7.21 under Sunrise?

Hello
Yes I had the 7490 from Sunrise before and have now received the 7590 from Sunrise. I just had to plug it in and import my backup from the 7490! Runs perfectly! Firmware 7.1.
