I would say 128GB is actually enough BUT the 256GB cards are so cheap, I would recommend them.

As I always save the recordings (photos + videos) at the end of the day on the computer or in the cloud, I never need the 256 GB of the memory card. Recently I was away for three weeks. In that time, I took 395 shots (photos plus videos) and ended up with 21 GB.

We have a 256gb memory card and never reached our limits, even on long snorkelling days with lots of filming.
