Question about Crucial Laptop Memory

hello everyone, quick question. i have an acer aspire vn7 model n16wa with an already existing ram sodimm 2400t from hynix (16gb) can i use the crucial memory at the same time so i would have 24gb total? Would this cause problems if the brands are different? sk hynix and crucial. thanks

To avoid incompatibilities, I would always use memory from the same manufacturer.
