Question about Pioneer Vsx-S520d
Hello The UPC Happy BOX has no sound and picture. If you press Settings once, wait a short time and go back again, the sound and picture are there. It would be desirable if the picture and sound could appear directly when the UPC Happy Box is controlled via the Pioneer receiver. Wiring as follows: UPC BOX <- HDMI -> Pioneer Receiver DVD player <- HDMI -> Pioneer receiver Game console <- HDMI -> Pioneer Receiver Pioneer Receiver <- HDMI -> Philips TV set DVD Player has direct picture and sound, only the UPC Happy Box does not work directly but only via "Settings" - how can this be corrected? Thank you

Have you tried switching on the reciever first? This sounds to me like a typical HDMI error, where one device does not recognise the other at first. I would also update all devices if you haven't already done so - with the reciever it's very easy if you have connected it to the internet.
