Question about Zyxel ATP200, ATP firewall with sandbox incl. gold license for 1 year
Hi ! I hesitate between a Zyxel APT 100 and ATP200 (with gold license). I'm independent, I mostly work from home. I have a Synology NAS that I would like to access securely from a remote location... My router is a Swisscom Internet-Box 3 router (I have a 1Gb FTTH connection and Swisscom TV-Box) and I use integrated Wifi with home automation (Google Home, plugs and lights connected, among others). I have a 1Go switch to connect my other computers and devices What makes me hesitate between the two models is the available bandwidth. I would like the firewall to affect my original bandwidth as little as possible. Thank you!

But in your case the VPN throughput is the most important thing. According to the data sheet, the ATP100 has 300Mbit and the ATP200 500Mbit throughput. But that is for multiple connections. With a single tunnel you will reach about half, with an ATP200 about 250Mbit. The exact throughput depends on various factors like provider, type of encryption etc.
