The battery lasts longer than 2 weeks. It also depends on the temperature where the cam is located (winter) and how often the cam is switched on (used)... an additional battery costs almost nothing -> reserve for all cases... Battery life is not an issue/problem for me - it feels like they run forever.

By the way, this also applies to the Ring Stick Up Cam Battery, black ;-)
