I bought this TV, set it up, but since then I‘ve noticed a high-pitched buzzing sound coming from it occasionally while it is in standby mode. I’m talking a sizeable mosquito here, not disturbingly loud, but annoyingly so. It is not continuous, in fact the frequency is quite hard to pin down. Ranges from some days minimal every few hours a buzzing for 10sec to some days where it comes every 10min in 10sec bursts. So, I‘ve done some research, Samsung support threads and tech blogs - its a recognized issue for this and other models, with proposed solution fixes ranging from firmware upgrades to improving the ventilation situation behind the TV. Trying some of these fixes has not helped resolve the issue, unfortunately. Before I take the step of contacting Samsung Support and opening a warranty case I thought I‘d ask for advice on G‘s community platform. Anybody had similar issues with this (or other, eg. new 8k) model and managed to resolve? Thx
Have you activated Smarthings?
And off on your mobile?
Then the box is looking for something to connect.
Supp can switch this off in the box via remote maintenance. With a mate it was gone afterwards.
Unfortunately I have the same problem! Unfortunately, I don't know of a solution either...
