I don't have an internet connection at the moment, it's still waiting to be activated. Can I access the internet with the Devolo Magic 1 WiFi Starter Kit and my modem from Salt? Thank you for your answer.

Have I understood correctly, your Internet from Salt is not yet activated? But you already have the modem from Salt?
With Devolo, if you don't have any internet connections in the house (e.g. UPC sockets), you can create a line via the normal power sockets or of course amplify WIFI.
