Question about Philips 43PUS7009/12

I have a Philips headphone with charging cradle connected to the TV via the Optical connection. Now I get sound on the headphones via the apps on the TV (e.g. Youtube) but no sound on the headphones for the regular TV channels, which are connected via a Canal Digitaal CI+ module in the TV. Can this be solved?

My setup consists of a MacMini running macOS 15.5. I use the macOS app EARS to control the audio outputs. This allows me to control the audio outputs as I wish, which works wonderfully. I suspect that your problem is that the audio output to the headphones is not configured correctly. If I were you, I would start from scratch - without headphones. Then connect and test the other components step by step. Hopefully it will work!
