Question about Synology Large Home Mesh Kit RT2600ac + MR2200ac
I have a question of understanding here. I don't necessarily need the RT2600ac router, is that correct? Theoretically, the MR2200ac is enough for me, as it is also a router? So why do I need the RT2600ac?

You don't necessarily need the router. MR2200ac is also a router, even if the hardware is somewhat weaker. In our house I have 1x router RT2600ac 3x the MR2200ac (so I even have WLAN signal in the air-raid shelter). The game together with the router and the MRs as a mesh point is perfect and very simple. I also have a Synology NAS which fits together very well :)
