I have an Apple Airport as a router. Can I connect 1 or 2 MR2200ac via WLAN so that together they form a MESH network? Or should I buy the RT2600ac and 2 MR2200ac straight away?

The RT2600ac is needed as a mesh coordinator. Therefore, I would retire the airport.

I also had AirPort Extreme routers. Sold them on Ricardo and consolidated everything onto Synology. The RT2600ac is necessary. Am very satisfied.
