No HomeBase is required for the Auto Cruise function of the eufy SoloCam S340. The camera has automatic motion detection with pan and tilt function that tracks people and vehicles, but does not offer true Auto Cruise (automatic all-round panning) like the Floodlight Cam E340. Although a HomeBase can enable automations to direct the camera to preset positions, it is not required for the basic Auto Cruise function.
