I have connected the Soundbar correctly to the TV and it works. But when playing a DVD/BluRay, the Soundbar only plays the 2.0 soundtrack. As soon as the main film starts playing (mostly 5.1, Dolby or anything else more than 2.0), no sound comes out. I've replaced the BluRay player and HDMI cable several times, but it's no use. Is the soundbar defective? Or can someone here help me?

Are you bringing a 5.1 to the speakers from another source? If so, I would look at the DVD/player.
Otherwise, you could try the optical cable that came with the speakers.
