Question about Kidigi Omni USB C-A Charging Dock
I ordered the charging dock in a double pack and received it today. As great as the joy was when I unpacked it, as great was the disillusionment when I connected my mobile phone (Sony XZ2 compact): Absolutely no reaction. Whether on the PC or on the power supply unit at the socket ... NOTHING happens. I tried it with my wife's mobile phone (Samsung) ... also no response. Another power supply unit ... nothing. Should I know something or is this thing just junk?

Well, I also own the thing and everything works for me without any problems. I use it with a normal power socket, but it should also work with a PC, as far as I know. It looks like you got a unit from an assembly line. I would contact digitec, as you have a 14-day warranty on receipt of the defective device. Annoying, but it can happen...

It's funny. Before I bought it, I looked around online and only read good things. I also thought of a so-called "assembly device" at first, but I took advantage of the current digitec promotion and ordered 2 units straight away. Both "assembly devices"? That would be a coincidence. I took the thing into the shop today, where a learner put his mobile phone on it. Here too: Nothing happens.
