I suspect that the steel specification for this model is wrong. You can't find out exactly on the internet, but most of the tests say it's a plastic case. The 20 gram difference to the V must come from somewhere.

The bezel of the cover glass and the buttons are made of stainless steel, the rest of the casing is made of plastic - at least on my white model. The cover glass is made of "PMMA laminated glass with hardness coating" according to the manufacturer and not Gorilla Glass as the manufacturer states for the Vantage V model.
