I too am an IT layman and wonder if this product (Ubiquiti UniFi UAP-IW-HD: Inwall AP) can be integrated into an existing mesh from AVM (Fritz!Box). I am not interested in the professional installation of the hardware, but only in whether this is possible on the software side (if you can call it that). Mesh from AVM is available, now I just want to integrate this product into the mesh. Can anyone give me a competent answer? Thanks for the support!

Basically, you can do everything and connect it in some way. I wouldn't even try it as a professional. Nobody would think of fitting a VW gearbox to a Toyota. If you have chosen AVM, then continue with these products.

No, you can't, only compatible with other Unify products.
